Hang Ups & Folding Fallacies About Men Shirts

You maybe wondering whether you should fold your shirts or hang them. Well, here are a few tips.

• Consider the material of the shirt. Woven items should be hung, while knits may be folded.
• Dress shirts that are brought on a hanger or folded and pinned in a package, should be hung to prevent wrinkles.
• Casual shirts, like tanks & tees, may be hung if space is limited, but remember to insert or remove the hanger from the bottom to prevent stretching at the neck.
• ZE Tanks & Tees may be folded or hung depending on the complexity of the garment. Simple garments may be folded, while garments with elaborate tailoring or are heavily decorated should be hung.

Avis Collection Debut

I am proud to debut of my latest collection Avis, meaning bird, inspired by Aviation. 

This collection is very masculine for it's use of color and shape. It accentuates broad shoulders and the chests. 

The textile incorporated recycled bottom weight cotton (dark grey) and cotton jersey (eggshell and light grey). The grunge aesthetic is edgy and adds a vintage feel to the design.

Avis Collection Preview

Over the past week, I've been posting previews of my newest "mini" collection called Avis, meaning bird. This collection is inspired by aviation and has a grunge aesthetic.

As much as I'd like to create several more "mini" collections before posting the photos and listings on my Etsy shop, I'm tempted to showcase everything tomorrow.

Flying Ahead of Time

Currently, I am developing and creating several mini-collections to fill my Etsy shop this fall; one of which is inspired by aviation.

The first recorded term (aviator) was used in french (aviateur), which is derived from the Latin avis (meaning bird).

Initially, the idea was to create a single collection for next summer, but I am just going with the flow; mostly because, I'm so anxious, I can wait until next summer and additionally, I'd like to give my clients OPTIONS.

So look for new listings and photos soon.
